Welcome to Quick QR Code Generator. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use our website at quick-qr-code-generator.com, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.
1. Information You Enter
The generator lets you enter content such as URLs, plain text, phone numbers, email information, contact details, Wi-Fi information, social profile links, map information, and other QR-code content. For normal static QR generation, this information is processed by the website in your browser so that a QR code can be created.
We do not need you to create an account to use the main QR generator.
2. Logo and Design Preferences
If you upload a logo or select QR design preferences, some settings may be stored locally in your browser using browser local storage. This is used to remember selected QR colors, eye styles, palettes, or logo preferences on your device. These local settings are not an account profile maintained by us.
3. PDF Upload Feature
The PDF QR feature can upload a selected PDF to a third-party temporary file-hosting service so that the PDF can have a public URL that a QR code can open. The website code currently uses tmpfiles.org for this temporary upload workflow.
Do not upload confidential, private, financial, medical, identity, password, or otherwise sensitive documents to the temporary PDF feature. Third-party services have their own privacy practices and terms.
4. Contact Form
The website includes a Contact Us form asking for your name, email address, and message. In the current static website implementation, submitting the form displays a confirmation message in the browser; it does not by itself create an account or guarantee that a message is delivered to us. If a backend or email service is connected in the future, information submitted through the form may be processed by that service.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The current website code does not intentionally set a traditional tracking cookie. Browser local storage may be used for QR customization preferences as described above.
6. Third-Party Services
The website may load resources from third-party providers, including Google Fonts and the QRCode.js library delivered through a CDN. The PDF upload feature also communicates with the temporary file-hosting service described above. These providers may process technical information according to their own policies.
7. Advertising
If advertising is enabled on the website, third-party advertising providers such as Google may use cookies or similar technologies to provide, measure, and personalize advertising, subject to their applicable policies and your available privacy choices. We do not use this Privacy Policy to promise that advertising or personalized advertising is currently active.
8. Analytics
The current page code does not include Google Analytics or a similar analytics script. If analytics are added later, this policy should be updated to describe the provider, purpose, and relevant choices.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to keep the website and its functionality operating securely. However, no website or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Children's Privacy
The website is a general-purpose online utility. We do not knowingly request unnecessary personal information from children. Users should avoid entering sensitive personal information into QR content fields or uploading confidential documents.
11. External Links
QR codes may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties. Once you leave our website, the third party's privacy policy and terms apply.
